How God Renders Judgment
God is a merciful God who gives nations ample chance to repent of their sins. We are given two examples in the Bible which show us that the sins of a nation fill up a “cup” of judgment. God is the one that measures the sins and iniquities, because ultimately all sins are against God. “Bloodguiltiness”—the shedding of innocent blood, fills up the cup very quickly. If people repent of their sins, and plead the blood of Jesus Christ over their lives and over their nation, God will forgive those sins and have mercy on that nation. If the people continue sinning without repenting, then the cup of judgment continues to fill up. At a certain point known to God, the cup of sin fills to the brim, and then God pours the whole thing out in judgment.
In Abraham’s Time
God gave Abraham’s descendants the land of Canaan. The Amorites were a wicked, idol-worshipping people living in Canaan in Abraham’s day. Why didn’t God just punish the Amorites and give the land directly to Abraham? The answer is given in Genesis 15:15-16, when God says Abraham : “ 15 You, however, will go to your fathers in peace and be buried at a good old age. 16 In the fourth generation your descendants will come back here, for the sin of the Amorites has not yet reached its full measure."
We see that God’s patience, timing, and “cup-size” required the judgment upon the Amorites to be fulfilled at a certain point in time. He was giving them more time to repent before the cup of judgment would be fulfilled.
In Jesus’ Time
The Lord Jesus Christ faced much opposition during His earthly ministry. Many prophets before Jesus experienced the same persecution during their days on earth. It turns out that the cup of judgment against Jerusalem would be filled with the persecution of Jesus Christ. Here is what Jesus says in Matthew 23: 29-36 (emphasis added):
29 "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You build tombs for the prophets and decorate the graves of the righteous. 30And you say, 'If we had lived in the days of our forefathers, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.' 31So you testify against yourselves that you are the descendants of those who murdered the prophets. 32Fill up, then, the measure of the sin of your forefathers!”
33"You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell? 34Therefore I am sending you prophets and wise men and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; others you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town. 35 And so upon you will come all the righteous blood that has been shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berekiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. 36I tell you the truth, all this will come upon this generation.”
The Judgment Against the Spirit of Islam in 2010 A.D.
God has given revelation to several people that the cup of sin and judgment against the Spirit of Islam has now filled. This Spirit of Islam is a deceiving spirit that has caused the shedding of blood of millions of people over the past 1,400 years. Now is the time in history that judgment of this spirit will occur and the actual spiritual principality will be overthrown.
This is actually very good news for Muslims throughout the world. The spirit that is enslaving and deceiving them will be cast down. This will result in the liberation of millions of Muslim souls that have been in spiritual chains.
